Bring your own dump. PC and Linux need Dragon's Crown Pro (CUSA10454), decrypted, from a PS4 or PS5 you own. Android needs Dragon's Crown (PCSE00019) and its 1.09 update, decrypted, from a PS Vita you own. Encrypted PKG files won't work.

Windows

Windows 10 or 11, 64-bit. Direct3D 12 or Vulkan, or any GPU with OpenGL 3.3.

Install

  1. Unzip it anywhere, for example C:\Games\OpenCrownPC. Keep the three files together.
  2. Run OpenCrownPC Launcher.exe. If SmartScreen warns you, choose More info, then Run anyway.
  3. On the Game page, browse to your dump folder (the one with eboot.bin).
  4. Choose where to keep your saves the first time, then press Play.

Linux & Steam Deck

64-bit Linux with glibc 2.35+: SteamOS 3.5+, Ubuntu 22.04+, Debian 12+, Fedora, Arch and others.

Install

  1. Make the AppImage executable (right-click, Properties, Permissions), then run it.
  2. Steam Deck: in Desktop Mode, add it to Steam with Add a Non-Steam Game, then start it from Game Mode.
  3. On the Game page, browse to your dump folder and press Play.

Please use the AppImage rather than the Windows version through Proton.

Android beta

Android 9 or newer, 64-bit ARM, Vulkan 1.1. A controller is recommended.

Install

  1. Open the APK and tap Install. Allow installs from your browser or file manager if Android asks.
  2. Start OpenCrown Mobile and allow All files access. It creates OpenCrown/dump/Game and dump/Update.
  3. Copy your Vita base game into dump/Game and the 1.09 update into dump/Update.
  4. Press Check again on the Game page, then Play.
